This evening I went to a meeting of our people’s organisation. The people who go there are "caring about society", as everybody does.
People do not see positive things in society. They are worry. They feel discontentment. Everywhere they see threats for their children, this feeling originally Dutch people share with people who originally come from abroad. They see coffee shops, everywhere drugs available, volatile streets, and so on, and so on, and they blame the government for this. They see it as a lack of security.
They like to organise activities for people, for elderly people, for children, for the youth. They like a happy society for everybody. But they don’t see this, and want to do something for it.
There are a lot of people, with problems everywhere. These problems are coming from addictions of people, and just people with problems, I think psychiatric problems, but the majority of the people think these people who make problems don’t know how to behave themselves in society. This is the conclusion.
There are subgroups, and they are organizing activities. This is kind of them. They like to do something for society as a whole, and they come from many different occupations and educations, but with cooperation these people think they can give society positive impulsion.
I think they are idealistically and have faith in humanity?
